Mpact Versapak, situated in Paarl, Western Cape and in Roodekop, Gauteng, is a leading manufacturer of plastic packaging and cling film, in Southern Africa. We produce a wide range of branded and unbranded polystyrene, expanded polystyrene and PET packaging for both the local and international FMCG, fast food, fresh food, beverage and agricultural markets.
As a responsible converter and to promote user confidence, we publicly and transparently communicate our membership and associations with various organisations, including Plastics SA and Packaging SA.
We are also members of Petco, Polyco, SAVA and the Polystyrene Association, which are Producer Responsibility Organisations. By participating and positively contributing to extend producer responsibility schemes, we are extending the environmental benefit by supporting a greater return of this resource into the South African economy and ultimately reducing the leakage of these products into the environment. We also promote recycling in order to create sustainable new employment opportunities, reduce dependence on virgin material and create a demand-pull for recycled plastics where infrastructure exists. Our ultimate aim is to reduce the polystyrene volumes to landfill.
All our packaging is manufactured to stringent health and safety standards. Under our BRC accreditations, we are committed and regulated to use accredited raw materials that are safe for direct food contact. Mpact Versapak also adheres to EU laws, which have approved the use of polystyrene since 1958.

Through our extensive, countrywide distribution network, we are able to rapidly respond to our customers’ delivery needs. Our in-house design function allows us to develop products that are aligned with market trends and are optimized for the manufacturing process, ultimately benefitting you, our valued client.
